I'm sitting here with all the windows open in the studio, basking in the beautiful sunshine and warm air. The birds are singing, and I can smell the lilacs blooming in the backyard.
This spring has been incredible! Not only am I thoroughly enjoying spending time outside (guys, I have a backyard that I can hammock in anytime I want!!), but I started out the season with a really great request for some hand-bound journals.
The request was for 5 journals, 4 identical 8.5"x5.5" and 1 with different cover material. My client wanted flexible covers and open coptic stitching for the spine.
Oh, and she also asked me to inscribe the first page with each recipient's name in calligraphy. What a perfect combination of creativity, to make for weeks of fun!
