For the Relentlessly Unique

Updated: Dec 2, 2019

Tell me, do you see yourself in any of the following people:

**a tourist who, while visiting a new city, opts for the small boutiques downtown to find a piece of clothing that no one else will be wearing back home

**a busy professional that's looking for a unique and creative way to unwind

**a bride-to-be who isn't satisfied with the trendy envelopes and invitations that she finds on the shelf, but instead searches tirelessly for a unique design that will compliment her style

**a thoughtful gift-giver, searching for the perfect birthday present for her close friend...something that feels personal and is a one-of-a-kind find

**a snail-mailer who wants to add a special personal touch to her cards and letters this year any of these resonate with you?

Personally, I can relate to ALL of these folks because I think we all have something in common: a desire to travel off the beaten path, to find things to surround ourselves with that celebrate who we are, rather than what's trendy. We want to tell our unique stories, and we aren't satisfied with what's easily available. I like to think of us as "Relentlessly Unique"

When I was beginning DeBord Studios, I thought a lot about why I wanted to start this business.

I realized that I want to help others who are relentless in their pursuit to surround themselves with things that are personal and meaningful.

I want to celebrate each person's unique personality by using my passion and skills as a calligrapher to create something that is beautifully and completely their own.

I love sharing my knowledge to help those who want to tell their own stories to succeed.

And it's become my mission to do exactly that! If you are the type of person who relentlessly searches for personal and thoughtful things to surround yourself with (or to give to your loved ones), then I would be honored to help! Tell me your story, or share the words that have special meaning to you and we'll work together to design something you'll absolutely love!

There are three ways we can work together:

1) For the DIY'er: I teach beginning calligraphy classes and private lessons in the Twin Cities area, and I'd love to help you learn the skills you need to tell your own story! Click here to learn more.

2) For the Bride-To-Be: adding calligraphy into your wedding celebrations can be a great way to personalize your special day. I can help you add that personal hand-addressed touch to your wedding invitation envelopes, or we can make your guests feel extra special with a hand-lettered seating chart or escort cards! The ideas are here to learn more!

3) For the Storyteller : If you have a story to tell or an idea for something as beautifully unique as you are, I would love to help you bring it to life! We'll work together to create a design you love. Whether you know exactly what it should look like or if you need some help, we'll take it step-by-step to tell your story efficiently and effectively with ink and paper! Click here to learn more.
